By using Witness, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English on purpose.
What Witness is
Witness is a mobile application that renders an AI-generated portrait and voice of your future self based on a single selfie and a short voice sample you provide, and lets you have conversations with that rendering.
What Witness is not
- A medical, mental-health, financial, or legal service.
- A predictive or prophetic tool. The future self is a reflection, not a forecast.
- A replacement for a therapist, doctor, or trusted friend.
Acceptable use
- You must own the rights to the face and voice you submit.
- You must not use Witness to impersonate, harass, or defraud another person.
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer the rendering pipeline.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are sold by the App Store or Google Play. They renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time inside your platform settings; cancellations stop future charges but do not refund the current term.
Disclaimer
Witness is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
If we change these terms in a material way, we’ll notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
